 LAND AVAILABLE!

 

The City has 182 acres of land fully ready to accommodate business, commercial or manufacturing ventures.

 

It is located on US Highway 45 and State Highway 110.  This land provides direct and convenient access to prime markets, labor pools and suppliers.  The average traffic flow exposure on these given highways is per day approximately 5,000 vehicles.

Air Service
Clintonville Municipal Airport serves all-weather corporate jets and is located 10 miles east of Marion.  The nearest scheduled airport is the Outagamie County Regional Airport located 40 miles Southeast of Marion, in Appleton.   Austin Straubel International Airport is located 50 miles east of the city, in Green Bay.

 

Water Transportation Facilities
The Port of Green Bay, a gateway port providing full shipping services and easy access to the
Great Lakes, is located 50 miles east of Marion.  It handles general, liquid and dry bulk cargo, as well as heavy industrial machinery and equipment.

 

Trucking

Kohel Interstate Transport Corporation is located within the city at 1425 E. Ramsdell Street (County Highway S).

There are 32 other trucking and warehousing establishments in Waupaca County.

The City of Marion has a total of 6 parks totaling over 48 acres.  A wide range of recreational activities are available, including a, 18-hole public golf course, excellent fishing on the Marion Pond, a walking park and athletic park.  In addition, we are surrounded by Shawano and Waupaca Counties, bountiful outdoor slender and recreational opportunities.

 

Health

 

The City of Marion has a dental clinic, and chiropractic clinic.  It is served by two (2) hospitals within 20 miles located in Shawano and New London.  Major health care facilities within 45 miles are located in Appleton, Neenah, Green Bay, Wausau and Stevens Point.
