Parks in Marion

Marion Athletic Park- 132 N Parkview Ave
The football field, softball field and baseball field with a grandstand. Other activities include tennis courts, basketball courts, skateboarding area, sledding hill and walking trails. Restrooms are available.

 

Lions Point Park- 327 W Garfield Ave
There are 2 enclosed shelters with restroom facilities, available for renting out for weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties, showers, picnics, meetings, etc.  An open shelter is also available on a first come, first serve basis. Other activities include a playground area, horseshoes, tennis, volleyball, swimming, fishing along with a boat landing. Picnic tables and grills are available. Annual events located at Lions Point includes: Marion Lions Club Fish Derby and Family Night Out with the Color Run.

 

Wallace Park- 800 W Ramsdell St
Picnic areas are available with grills, picnic tables and an open shelter. Activities include a small playground area, fishing and a boat ramp.  Restrooms are also available.


Veteran's Memorial Park- 291 Mavis Rd
An open shelter with picnic tables and restrooms is available. A half mile walking trail goes around and through the park with benches to sit and view the wild flowers and scenery. 

Cannon Park- 126 S Parkview Ave
Activities include basketball and playground equipment. Picnic tables are available and an open shelter.

 

Legion Memorial Park- 401 N Main St
A picnic table is availableActivities include swimming. No restrooms are available. 

 

Disc Golf- located at 132 N Parkview Ave.
Discs can be rented out at the Marion Public Library located at 120 N Main Street.

 

Sledding Hill-located at 132 N Parkview Ave.
Featuring a 50 foot drop. The hill is lighted every night from 4 PM-10 PM. Restrooms are available, an open shelter with picnic tables and a fire ring to build a warming fire.
