Notice of Hydrant Flushing

The Marion Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants August 3rd through August 14th.  This is to remove naturally occurring sediment that, while harmless, can cause discoloration of the water.  If you notice any discoloration or cloudiness, stop using water, wait 30 minutes, then draw off the discolored water from a cold water tap.
