The City of Marion does NOT have leaf collection. Compost items can be taken to the Municipal Garage at 615 Sherman Street on the east side. Items can be taken there Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is for City residents only!

 

Garbage Service

The City has contracted with Harter's Fox Valley disposal for weekly garbage pick-up.  The fee is placed on your quarterly utility bill.  Any business or apartment complex (larger than a duplex) who needs garbage collection needs to contract with a waste hauler separately.  If you have any questions about your service, please contact Harter's at 715-253-2619.

Garbage pickup is every Wednesday.  If the service day falls on or before a holiday, service will be one day later that week.  Regular service will resume the following week.  All items must be placed curbside by 6:00 am to insure pickup for that day.

For large items such as stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, furniture, refrigerators, freezers, air conditions, please contact Harter's for pick up or the Waupaca County PTF at 715-258-6249 for an appointment to drop off.  Appointments and arrangements are required.
